Camera Compatibility
Shutterpin · Live GPS via Bluetooth location linking, or GPX post-tagging for every other model
How to read this list
Live GPS: the camera supports Bluetooth location linking — Shutterpin streams
your position in real time and the camera writes GPS into every photo at capture.
Any other model: use track logging + the QR time slate, then apply the GPX
afterwards (post-tagging). Every camera works this way.

Known caveats
- Bluetooth remote conflict: on some bodies (reported on A6400 and A7R IV) the camera cannot run location linking and a Bluetooth remote at the same time — set Bluetooth Rmt Ctrl to Off while geotagging.
- A6400 pairing: pairing issues have been reported on this body; power-cycle the camera and re-pair from inside the app if it stalls.
- Pair inside the app: pair from Shutterpin, not from the phone's Bluetooth settings — cameras reject location data from OS-level pairings.
Every other model
Bodies without Bluetooth location linking (including A7 II, A6000 and most RX100 generations before VI) are fully covered by track logging + QR time slate post-tagging.
Menu names and paths vary by body and firmware — when in doubt, check the official help guide published by your camera's manufacturer for your exact model.
